2 invite code for Bluesky (but Twitter is fine)

February 7, 2024December 7, 2023 by Kai Arzheimer

Twitter may be burning, but I’m not leaving yet (as I have said a thousand times before). Still, it is good to have alternatives, and so I set up an account on Mastodon back in November ’22 when we all felt the evil presence of You-Know-Who. But much as I like the ideas behind Mastodon…

November 17, 2023 by Kai Arzheimer

When even so-so- journals reject promising manuscripts if even one reviewer doesn’t like them, the system is broken. That’s the long and the short of it.

I’m quoted in the Wall Street Journal, and of course, it is about the AfD

September 13, 2023 by Kai Arzheimer

Back in August, I had a chat with a journalist for the Wall Street Journal. She was working on an article about the resurgence of the far right in Germany. This sound bite, together with some content, made it into the final manuscript.
